Test Repair Technician

We are hiring for a Test Repair Technician to perform pre-test and final test of EP units. This position is located in our Miramar, FL MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility. What You Will Do :

  • Participate in CORE continuous improvement initiatives and environmental, health, and safety activities.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to test electrical power units, ensuring all product specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Perform functional and electrical testing using multimeters and other test equipment; monitor tests, record data, and document results for acceptance or rejection.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, machine tools, electronic / manual test equipment, and mechanical measuring devices; load and unload equipment in test beds as required.
  • Collaborate with supervision, support personnel, and other teams to resolve issues, meet production schedules, and achieve team goals.
  • Utilize computer systems such as SAP and Access to enter, retrieve, and manage information for daily activities.
  • Demonstrate safe work habits, maintain a neat and orderly work area, and interface with customers, engineers, or auditors as necessary.
  • In this position, you are required to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • 2nd Shift position : 3pm to 11 : 30pm, Mon to Fri
  • Will train on 1st Shift for roughly 90 days : 7am to 3 : 30pm, Mon to Fri

Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational / technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Qualifications We Prefer :

  • 1-2 years of work experience in the aerospace industry
  • A&P license
  • Experience working with aircraft hydraulics / fuel systems, preferably within a FAA Part 145 MRO environment.

    Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
