At SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, we believe that health care is more than just a career; it’s a calling. We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic on a PRN basis.

Job Overview :

As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide compassionate and direct patient care in a supportive environment. Your skills will be crucial in assessing and responding to the needs of our behavioral health patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough admitting and shift assessments on assigned patients in a timely manner.
• Utilize critical thinking to analyze patient data and communicate changes in condition to the physician.
• Engage in the creation, evaluation, and modification of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Document all nursing care accurately and adhere to established policies and procedures.
• Implement and evaluate physician orders consistently and accurately.
• Monitor the safety of both patients and the environment within the unit.
• Supervise and support LPNs and Nurse Technicians in delivering care.
• Provide education to patients and families based on assessed needs and document accordingly.
• Apply evidence-based practices to ensure care meets individual patient needs.
• Exhibit professional nursing standards in all interactions and decisions.
• Maintain a state of alertness and safe practices throughout your shift.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team and patient care.
