Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking skilled ARRT Radiology and Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our dedicated team.
JOB SUMMARY :
In this role, you will perform vital x-ray tests and ensure patient safety through expert handling of equipment and procedures. You will also assist in medical support tasks and maintain clinical standards for quality patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Warmly greet and assist patients as they enter waiting areas and treatment rooms.
- Effectively communicate with patients about wait times and next steps in their care.
- Address patient concerns and escalate emergency situations as needed.
- Conduct follow-up calls promptly and with urgency.
- Support front desk staff with patient registration processes.
- Record and document essential patient information including vital signs and medical histories.
- Aid in patient transfers and assist in procedures under provider supervision.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient visits, adhering to established protocols.
- Perform radiology procedures efficiently for timely evaluation by healthcare providers.
- Conduct quality control checks on radiology equipment and report issues to management.
- Uphold patient safety standards through proper radiation protection techniques.
- Ensure all radiology equipment is functioning properly and communicate any malfunctions.
- Stay current in the field of diagnostic imaging through continuous education.
- Maintain all necessary licensure and certifications relevant to your role.
WORK SCHEDULE :
Our PRN (per diem) team members work on an as-needed basis with flexible hours.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Current BLS Certification.Valid AR State X-Ray License.ARRT Certification is preferred.Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.BENEFITS :
