Reliant Staffing Solutions / RSS Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

Job Summary : \n
\n- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
\n- Accepts first-time travelers
\n- Must have cardiovascular, open heart, and balloon pump experience
\n- Unit census averages 24 patients, with 28 rooms / beds
\n- Nurse-to-patient ratio : 1 : 2
\n- Care required for adults and geriatric patients
\n- Every other weekend coverage required
\n- No on-call requirement
\n- Self-scheduling available
\n- Royal blue scrubs required
\n
\n Key Responsibilities / Skills :
\n- Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
\n- Follow IV insulin protocols
\n- Manage arterial lines
\n- Administer blood products
\n- Provide central and PICC line care / management
\n- Start IVs
\n- Care for ventilated patients
\n- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABG)
\n- Perform suctioning
\n
\n Required Certifications :
\n- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
\n- BLS (Basic Life Support)
\n- NIH Stroke Certification
\n- VIP, MAB, or CPI certification (in-person courses only)
\n
Reliant Staffing Solutions / RSS Medical Job ID #3417. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
