Marketing Technology Coordinator – New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
Supports the Marketing & Communications Department by maintaining all marketing technology‑related activities for the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (MCCNO). Responsibilities include website management, email database, eblast creation and distribution, application support, digital signage, and troubleshooting.
Major Accountabilities
Perform all activities associated with maintaining MCCNO internal tools including web sites, email databases, online accounts, and in‑house applications through authoring, editing, proofing, and providing text and graphic content.
Assist with programming changes and updating content consistent with the MCCNO's mission and goals.
Maintain all online accounts related to proper application operations.
Maintain sign‑up forms for various websites.
Oversee layout of eblasts for various departments.
Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of digital marketing and communication strategies to optimize effectiveness and enhance user experience.
Respond to software / application / email database issues for end users; identify problems and coordinate appropriate corrective action.
Coordinate and lead cross‑departmental outreach efforts for website requirements.
Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose and repair technical problems in order to minimize downtime and improve responsiveness.
Oversee implementation of new marketing software platforms.
Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team and other internal departments to test and deploy campaigns on deadline and follow best practices / processes.
Act as a supportive liaison to other departments, vendors, web / app developers, and clients.
Interface with clients and in‑house personnel regarding technical requirements.
Communicate issues between departments and external stakeholders in a timely manner and achieve resolution.
Support the action plan of the Marketing & Communications Department.
Use creativity in developing more efficient methods of achieving departmental goals.
Support the effects to extend the reach of the department.
Serve as backup to the Creative Services Manager in maintaining all digital signage, including meeting rooms, wayfinding, information kiosks, Transportation Center, Tricentennial History Exhibit, and marquee.

Demonstrated knowledge in digital marketing technologies and integration of data between marketing systems and channels.
Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, utilize time efficiently to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain accuracy, thoroughness, and confidentiality while performing under minimal supervision, including troubleshooting as needed.
Computer Skills
Proficient typing and aptitude for learning various software programs.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Technical aptitude; proficiency in graphic design, web design, and content management systems preferred.
