Peraton is seeking skilled and qualified candidates for their Shipping Receiving Clerk I position. The Shipping Receiving Clerk works at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS. The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. The CRF provides depot level maintenance for essential automation, mechanization, retail and bulk mail processing systems used in all mail processing and retail installations.

Our Shipping Receiving Clerk performs shipping and receiving functions in support of the USPS Central Repair Facility. Job specific tasks include :

• Performs interchangeably as receiving clerk and shipping clerk
• Unpacks, identifies, and prepares necessary receiving documents required for work control of end items as established in work instructions
• Unloads and distributes piece parts and supplies to appropriate areas
• Follows instructions for packing, marking, and shipping as required to meet timely shipping performance
• Coordinates necessary shipping paperwork as required in the established work instructions
• May be required to operate a motor vehicle in the movement of goods
• Extensive interactions with internal and external customers
• Performs other related tasks as assigned

The rate / range per hour below represents the typical pay for this position based on experience and other factors.
