About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Controller to spearhead the development of scalable accounting operations within a fast-growing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing corporate accounting operations, managing a team of accountants, and driving process improvements across various financial cycles. This role also involves managing M&A accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger activities, as well as partnering with auditors to ensure the timely delivery of financial statements and tax filings. The VP Controller will be instrumental in implementing automation and internal controls to maintain a high level of accuracy in financial reporting, and will support key strategic initiatives and acquisition integrations. Applicants for the VP Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of accounting experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked within private equity-backed organizations. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required, and a background in public accounting is a significant advantage. The role demands a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate finance operations, as well as experience in multi-location or multi-entity environments. Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 and Salesforce is also beneficial. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, and demonstrate a high level of energy, an ownership mindset, and a passion for building strong teams.
