    The Company is seeking a VP, Head of AI to spearhead the establishment and execution of its enterprise AI and GenAI strategy. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping the future of AI within the property and casualty insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and growing multidisciplinary teams, including data science, AI engineering, and MLOps, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Key responsibilities include partnering with executive leadership to prioritize high-impact AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and leading the commitment to ethical and responsible AI. The role also involves defining and tracking key performance metrics, driving enterprise-wide adoption, and staying at the forefront of emerging AI trends. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years' experience in data science, machine learning, and AI. A strong background in predictive modeling, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and time-series analysis is essential, as is a proven track record in senior leadership and hands-on expertise in deploying AI solutions. The candidate should be adept at leading and mentoring teams, making strategic technology decisions, and measuring business value. Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is desirable, but the ability to bring fresh ideas and challenge legacy assumptions is equally valued. The role requires a collaborative, customer-first leader with a strong focus on organizational change management and the human side of technology adoption.
