Mental Health Specialist II

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and models effective communication and coping skills

Assists clients in identifying personal recovery goals and determining appropriate interventions

Advocates for resources based on assessed needs and maintains relationships to monitor client progress

Required Qualifications

Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Competency in recognizing and responding to clients' unique needs

Ability to handle phone requests under time pressure

Experience in crisis intervention

Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
