At CrossSafety, we specialize in providing comprehensive Health & Safety consulting, engineering, and recruitment services across North America. We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Engineer to join our team in Georgetown, KY. This is an onsite role, and candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday.
About the Role
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the introduction of new paint colors and materials for automotive manufacturing. You will lead lab and on-line testing, manage project schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful material implementation.
Work Location : Georgetown, KY (Onsite required)
Travel : Up to 15% domestic travel, primarily to project sites and supplier labs across the USA.
Safety Requirement : Steel toe boots required
What You’ll Be Doing
What You Bring
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel for analysis, PowerPoint for reporting and presentations)
✅ Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
✅ 2+ years of project management experience across multiple functions
✅ 1+ year experience in and appearance evaluations
✅ 1+ year experience in paint design
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or Material Science
Automotive manufacturing experience in paint production engineering
Experience in paint application evaluation and lab workability testing
Interview Process
One-round STAR / Video interview (60 minutes with the hiring manager)
