Mid-Continent Group is looking for an Associate Underwriter to join their Underwriting team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule from downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities :

• Underwrite, price, and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the companys strategies and guidelines
• Review endorsement business submissions and prepare quotes within authority.
• Review renewal business submissions and prepare quotes within authority.
• Prepare coverage issuance forms for policy processing.
• Prepare correspondence, letters, and memos to agents and insureds.
• Issue requests for additional information.
• Prepare additional information as warranted.
• Maintain suspense system for documentation follow-up, renewal solicitation, etc.
• Follow work procedures and practices outlined by supervisor and / or department manager.
• Actively manage relationships with assigned agents / brokers and co-workers
• Responsible for special projects and assignments as assigned by supervisor and / or department manager.
