General Summary :

The Data Integration Specialist will support the development and execution of data integration processes that enable the seamless movement of data across systems. This role involves assisting in the design and optimization of ETL workflows to ensure data is accurately extracted from source systems, transformed into the appropriate structure, and loaded into target environments. Working closely with IT and business teams, the specialist will help maintain efficient data pipelines that support accurate reporting and efficient operations.

Key Essential Responsibilities :

  • Assists in the design, development, testing and maintenance of ETL pipelines that move data from various internal and third-party sources into Snowflake or other target systems.
  • Monitors and troubleshoots data pipelines to ensure accurate, timely and efficient data movement.
  • Supports data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies, validating data accuracy and applying appropriate corrections as needed.
  • Documents integration process, data mapping, system configuration and any changes to workflow for reference and audit purposes.
  • Participates in data-related projects including system upgrades, data migrations, and implementation of new software tools.
  • Provides technical support for data related integration issues and trouble shoot integration failures.
  • Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to work effectively with members, co-workers, management, and vendors. Demonstrates the Credit Union’s core values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, and Responsibility.
  • Keeps abreast of industry developments including but not limited to changes in regulations and technology.
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures and Banking / Credit Union Regulations.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server and basic understanding of ETL process and data integration concepts is required.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms like Snowflake is preferred.
  • Exposure to API’s, data formats (JSON, XML) and scripting language (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate complex technical issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data integration platforms (Talend, Informatica, SSIS) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv DNA core banking systems or Fiserv CRMBI reporting tools preferred.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices is a plus.
