Provides safe and high-quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Clinician. Assists and performs advanced modalities such as negative pressure wound therapy, compression therapy and post-debridement care. Maintains an accurate patient electronic medical record, assists with non-invasive and invasive departmental procedures and associated care coordination.
Samaritan Wound Care treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and / or other problems. The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine.
Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
