Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Locations : San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Portland, OR; or Remote within Canada or United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data science and engineering teams to design and deploy ML and Gen AI microservices, focused on automating reviews.
• Collaborate with a full-stack engineering team to embed these services into the review experience, including human-in-the-loop, escalations, and feeding human decisions back into the service.
• Implement testing, observability, alerting, and disaster recovery for all services.
• Implement tracing, performance monitoring, and regression testing.
• Demonstrate strong product ownership and willingness to take responsibility; participate in self-organizing on small / medium projects to help shape Mercury’s future.

The total rewards package includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Salary and equity ranges are competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are updated using reliable compensation data.
