Civil Engineering II

AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering II in Orange CA.

Job details :

• Assist in integration of emerging Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technologies and subsystems such as traffic cameras tolling systems and data management platforms ensuring seamless communication throughout all components.
• Analyze traffic data crash data and performance matrices using software tools like Synchro VISSIM ArcGIS Pro and Power BI to optimize the traffic flow and safety analysis.
• Develop and customize solutions for ITS applications including web-based dashboards and software solutions.
• Assist in agency coordination and executing emerging technology projects.
• Projects may involve advanced transportation technology connected and automated vehicle pilots smart mobility broadband communications ITS devices and other innovative solutions.
• Support ITS design and planning projects on intelligent transportation systems including traffic signal control variable message signs and connected vehicle infrastructure.
• Work on a wide range of projects and tasks and lead the team with field research evaluations data collection data analysis calculations graphics maps and data presentation and report development.
• Provide guidance to entry level engineers and perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little to moderate supervision.
• May telecommute.

Qualifications :

Candidates must have a Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
