GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Logistics Manager supervises and directs the individual day-to-day work activities of Logistics department personnel under the direction of the VP Technical Services & Logistics. They oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, reverse logistics, and safety. This role is also responsible for comprehensive management of the company’s fleet of vehicles including, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and administering all servicing, inventory management, equipment specification and procurement. This role is challenged to develop new tools and resources that increase efficiency, productivity and support the growth of our business. This position will develop and maintain extensive knowledge of logistics best practices and operating protocols while creating and implementing process improvements that increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
