Job Summary

The Real Estate Market Associate provides analytical and due diligence support focused on commercial mortgage investments together with analytical support in the evaluation and monitoring of real estate markets and the commercial real estate debt portfolios. This role is responsible for analyzing market trends evaluating property values and providing actionable insights to support strategic investment decisions.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Support commercial mortgage investment professionals in analyzing various commercial mortgage debt opportunities for potential investment by providing critical financial analysis to assist investment decisions through fact-based financial data and analytics.
• Assist commercial mortgage investment production professionals in designated markets to review and underwrite proposed commercial mortgage investment submissions due diligence materials and gather additional information as necessary.
• Prepare and take ownership of financial underwriting and risk models.
• Prepare final commercial mortgage documents for and presenting to senior management for final approval.
• Order track and analyze appraisals environmental and engineering studies financial statements and other third-party reports.
• Assist in the investment closing process coordinating with multiple functional units - Law Closing and Servicing.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $79938.00 - $108152.00 per year which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to location relevant experience skills and knowledge business needs market demand and other factors Thrivent deems important.
