Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

This includes tasks like loading and unloading materials, feeding materials into machines, and assisting with machine setup according to specifications.

Quality Control :

Monitoring machine output, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet quality standards.

Material Handling :

Moving materials and products around the work area, using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks.

Routine Maintenance :

Helping with basic machine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

Troubleshooting :

Assisting the machine operator in identifying and resolving issues with the machinery.

Safety Compliance :

Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Documentation :

Recording production data, machine malfunctions, and maintenance activities.

Teamwork and Communication :

Collaborating with other team members, communicating effectively with supervisors, and participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications :

Mechanical aptitude : Understanding basic mechanical concepts and the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues.

Attention to detail : Ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.

Physical stamina : Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials.

Problem-solving skills : Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Teamwork and communication skills : Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly.

Safety awareness : Understanding and adhering to safety protocols.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, and stooping.

Lifting, Pulling, Pushing and Carrying up to 40lbs.

Standing for up to 8 hours at a time.
