Position Summary :

The Supply Manager is responsible for managing the flow of assigned produce items procured from both domestic and international sources. This role reports to the Director of Supply and collaborates closely with leaders across S&OP functions. The position requires periodic travel to growing regions and company facilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers based on commodity specifications.
  • Onboard new suppliers in collaboration with Quality Assurance to meet company standards.
  • Maintain and expand grower relationships to ensure a balanced and diversified supply portfolio.
  • Ensure quality and food safety standards are upheld throughout the supplier network.
  • Coordinate targeted deliveries with logistics and production teams.
  • Review daily quality inspection reports and monitor inventory to maintain freshness and flow.
  • Provide weekly commodity updates on volume, pricing, and availability.
  • Maintain budgetary profit margins while seeking cost improvements.
  • Collaborate with growers, finance, sales, R&D, and marketing on new product development and launches.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of procurement or related supply chain experience.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, reporting).
  • Experience with ERP and forecasting software.
  • Background in CPG, preferably fresh produce.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards such as Primus, BRC, HAACP, GMP, GSFI.
