Dental Business Assistant - Experienced and Spanish speaker

As a Business Assistant ( Front Desk Receptionist & Patient Coordinator ) , you are the first person that our patients see when they walk in and have one of the most ( if not the most ) important positions in a dental office. You will work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dental office / same position
• Saturday availability is essential. While you won't be scheduled every Saturday, being available is a requirement for the role.
• Start time is as early as 8 : 20 AM each day.
• End times can vary :

On weekdays, w e close at 6 : 00pm , and shifts can go as late as 6 : 45 PM , though most days end earlier.

On Saturdays, we close at 3 : 00 pm the latest shift ends at 3 : 45 PM , but again, most Saturdays finish sooner.

We Prefer :

Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend

Cross Trained / some knowledge of the Clinical side

Spanish Speaker

Answering phone calls

Scheduling appointments

Creating and Presenting treatment plans

Checkout patients

Charge patients for services

Create claims

Send claims

Send Pre Authorizations

Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping

Adherence to HIPAA protocols

Other duties associated with Business Assistants & Receptionists at a dental office.

Partner with the providers and team to implement our systems and maximize office workflow
