Position Overview :

As a Business Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new commercial landscape maintenance contracts across the South Bay region. This is a high-impact sales role for someone with a proven track record in service-based sales who thrives on building relationships and exceeding growth goals.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • OTE (On Target Earnings) : $125k – $150k
  • Uncapped Commission : Significant earning potential based on performance

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation : Proactively source new business via cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
  • Client Engagement : Understand client needs, challenges, and goals to design tailored solutions
  • Proposal Development : Create and deliver compelling proposals that showcase services and value
  • Relationship Building : Build long-term relationships with property managers, HOAs, commercial property owners, and decision-makers
  • Sales Execution : Negotiate contracts, close deals, and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Market Knowledge : Stay informed on industry trends and competitors in the South Bay to stay ahead of the curve
  • Collaboration : Work closely with operations and account management to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven Sales Success : 3+ years B2B sales experience with a strong record of meeting / exceeding targets (service industry preferred)
  • Hunter Mentality : Skilled prospector with relentless drive and competitive spirit
  • Strong Communication : Excellent verbal / written communication and negotiation skills
  • Relationship Builder : Ability to connect with diverse stakeholders across property management and commercial sectors
  • Local Knowledge (preferred) : Familiarity with the South Bay market, especially San Jose, Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Salinas, and Monterey
