Quality Control Underwriter

A company is looking for a Quality Control Underwriter to perform in-depth file reviews on quality control audits. Key Responsibilities Perform Prefunding QC loan audits to ensure quality and risk standards are met Conduct risk evaluations and complex analysis on various loan products Document findings and communicate potential resolutions to relevant departments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent education / experience in mortgage underwriting 5+ years of experience in underwriting mortgage loans Knowledge of agency and investor guidelines DE, LAPP, and SAR certifications preferred Experience with Encompass LOS system is a plus
