Responsibilities : The Security Ranger performs safety and security duties throughout the Zoo including perimeter and gate checks, clearing the Zoo of daytime guests, monitoring Zoo grounds during and after hours, and preserving the safety of guests, animals, and property. Requirements : High school diploma or GED; one year of security, guest service, loss prevention, or hospitality experience; CPR / AED certification; and successful completion of Critical Action Team certification within a defined period from hire date are required. EMT experience is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. This position works a primarily day shift schedule.
