Esaote North America is seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Representative – Dedicated MRI to oversee sales within our Southeastern U.S. territory. This field-based role is ideal for a results-driven, consultative sales professional with deep experience in capital equipment—particularly in imaging, radiology, or orthopedics. Preferred candidates will be based in Georgia, Northern Florida, or South Carolina , and will work closely with clinicians and administrators to deliver Esaote’s cutting-edge Dedicated MRI systems to practices and institutions across the region.

Location : Southeastern U.S. (Georgia, Northern Florida, or South Carolina preferred)

Territory : Multi-State Region (Southeast)

Department : MRI Sales

Reports To : Director of MRI Sales

Travel : Up to 70%, including overnight and occasional trade shows outside the region

JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Representative – MRI is responsible for driving sales growth across a large multi-state territory by promoting and selling Esaote’s portfolio of Dedicated MRI systems. This role requires a consultative approach to engage healthcare decision-makers, build strong customer relationships, and advance clinical and economic value. Success in this position requires in-depth product knowledge, territory planning, lead generation, and strategic collaboration with internal teams. The role includes significant travel within the territory and occasional travel to national trade shows and meetings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Territory Sales Management – 50%

  • Call on and build relationships with orthopedic practices, rheumatologists, podiatrists, and practice administrators to present and sell Dedicated MRI solutions.
  • Develop and qualify new opportunities through consistent prospecting and targeted outreach.
  • Achieve a strong conversion ratio by effectively managing a well-qualified sales funnel.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in CRM, including opportunities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual territory plans with defined goals and tactics.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other sales representatives and departments to support enterprise-level opportunities.

2. Marketing and Strategic Input – 30%

  • Represent Esaote at regional and national tradeshows to promote products and capture new leads.
  • Communicate competitive insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to the marketing and product management teams.
  • Partner with corporate marketing to reinforce messaging and value proposition in the field.
  • Contribute to the refinement of sales tools and resources through field-driven insights.
  • 3. Installed Base Management & Customer Support – 20%

  • Serve as the customer liaison post-sale to ensure a smooth transition and high satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Service and Applications teams to address customer concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain strong relationships with installed base customers to foster loyalty and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Proactively monitor customer satisfaction and advocate internally for enhancements as needed.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - None

    EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

    Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful capital equipment sales experience, preferably in medical imaging or diagnostic healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred :

  • 10+ years of overall sales experience, including background in radiology or imaging sales.
  • Experience selling into outpatient clinics and specialty medical practices.
  • Familiarity with long-cycle B2B capital equipment sales.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    Technical Knowledge :

  • Understanding of MRI systems, imaging workflows, and clinical terminology.
  • Ability to communicate technical specifications, ROI, and competitive advantages to medical and administrative stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of DICOM, PACS, and basic radiology informatics is a plus.
  • Competence using digital sales tools, virtual communication platforms, and data reporting systems.
  • Sales Competencies :

  • Territory Planning : Strong skills in territory segmentation, opportunity prioritization, and time management.

  • Business Acumen : Ability to discuss capital budgeting, operational impact, and strategic fit with healthcare decision-makers.
  • Team Collaboration : Proven success working cross-functionally to advance strategic goals and deliver value across departments.
  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% domestically.
  • Occasional international travel may be required for training or global meetings.
  • GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
