Must-Have :

• Must register for C-EFM during the compliance phase or within the first two weeks of the assignment.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• High-risk Labor and Delivery experience is required.

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The nurse will be part of a dynamic team focused on providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns.

A patient ratio of 1 : 2 is expected during shifts.

The role includes responsibilities such as circulating for C-sections and assisting with high-risk deliveries.

Experience with triage of obstetrical patients is essential.

The nurse will be required to float to similar units as needed.

Weekend and holiday coverage is required every other weekend and on holidays as needed.

The nurse must be able to respond to call requirements and be present within 45 minutes of receiving a call.

The nursing team collaborates with interdisciplinary support to manage patient diagnoses effectively.

This role involves caring for neonates and adults in a setting with 13 beds.

Scrubs will be provided for use during shifts.

Familiarity with fetal heart monitoring is necessary for this position.

The ideal candidate should have strong skills in recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
