Position Summary
Paradies Lagardère is an award-winning and innovative airport concessionaire, delivering first-class retail and dining experiences that keep travelers coming back year after year. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR partner at the platform level. This role oversees recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and engagement initiatives in alignment with company policies, airport / brand standards, and applicable labor laws.
The Human Resources Manager works closely with leadership teams to support staffing needs, guide corrective action, conduct investigations, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Experience in a unionized environment is strongly preferred to effectively manage labor relations, contract compliance, and grievance handling.

Duties and Responsibilities
People
Build and maintain a great workplace by promoting engagement, learning, and career development.
Source and recruit high-potential candidates using approved tools and guides.
Ensure onboarding and compliance-based training is completed on time.
Mentor and coach team members, fostering upward mobility and performance accountability.
Recognize excellence regularly and sustain a culture of coaching and feedback.
Deliver timely performance evaluations and support career development planning.
Actively drive associate engagement through surveys, recognition programs, and meetings.
Act as an advocate for associates through an open-door policy.
Operational Excellence
Guide and train leaders on HR policies, compliance (EEO, ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation), and best practices.
Conduct effective employee relations investigations and partner with leadership to address issues.
Lead and oversee onboarding processes for new hires.
Partner with managers on performance management, including counseling and documentation.
Conduct HR audits (employee files, training, compliance) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Partner with Regional HR leadership on escalated issues and initiatives.

Complete personnel, payroll, and administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Enforce security and loss prevention measures to protect associates, guests, and company assets.

Education, Experience, and Certifications
2–3 years of HR experience; food & beverage or retail experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
Direct exposure to recruitment, training, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Union environment experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Qualifications
Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24 / 7 / 365 environment, including weekends and holidays.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 25 lbs., and walk long distances in an airport environment.
Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and ability to work independently.
