The Associate Principal - Network Specialist plays a critical role in the planning, design, acquisition, and implementation of Mercy's voice and data network services. This position evaluates business requirements to develop robust networking solutions, conducts comprehensive project planning, and performs cost analysis and vendor comparisons. The role also involves managing infrastructure to ensure high availability, recoverability, performance, and integrity through both maintenance of existing systems and implementation of network enhancements.
Required Qualification(s) :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience : Relevant technical or business work experience. Extensive experience with complex technical environments, including Cisco networking, LAN / WAN, wireless technologies, VoIP, and advanced routing protocols.
Technical Skills (Highly Preferred) :
Proficiency in :
Strong understanding of :
Familiarity with tools such as :
Cisco DNA Center, Secure Workload (Tetration), or other Cisco DC solutions.
