What you can expect as a Business Analysis Manager :
Business Analysis Oversight and Performance ManagementProvide overall leadership and performance management for Guidewire-focused BAs.
Promote adherence to analysis standards, templates, and structured documentation practices.Monitor the quality, traceability, and completeness of deliverables, including business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Ensure BAs maintain transparency and readiness throughout the requirements lifecycle to support timely delivery.Champion effective use of Jira and Confluence to support analysis collaboration and tracking.Performance Management & Analyst DevelopmentParticipate in recruiting, interviewing, and selection processes for Business Analysts, providing thoughtful input on candidates capabilities, learning agility, problem-solving skills, curiosity, communication strength, and overall potential to thrive within the team and support practice standards.
Coach, mentor, and support BAs in developing technical and professional skills.Conduct regular 1 : 1s and structured performance reviews, providing actionable feedback.Monitor workload balance and productivity using defined KPIs and performance metrics.Drive accountability for documentation quality, delivery commitments, and adherence to standards.Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training, certification support, and growth opportunities.Partner with other BA leadership to define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for analysis activities, and monitor results to ensure continuous improvement and value delivery.Cross-Project Alignment & Delivery CoordinationPartner with Application Development Leads (BA, Development, and Quality Engineering Leads), the BA Practice Lead, and the PMO to ensure BAs are appropriately aligned across project, maintenance, and support initiatives.
Coordinate with PMO and project managers to ensure BA deliverables are integrated with project schedules, milestones, and dependencies.Help identify and mitigate cross-project risks and resource conflicts affecting BA contributions.Support progress tracking and transparent reporting on BA readiness to project stakeholders.Provide input on prioritization and resource planning to help meet organizational delivery objectives.Process Improvement & Best Practices ImplementationSupport ongoing enhancement of analysis processes and practices in partnership with the BA Practice Lead.
Promote a value-driven analysis mindset by encouraging BAs to fully understand business objectives, analyze needs critically, and recommend solutions aligned with strategic goals rather than passively documenting requests.Promote adoption of industry-recognized approaches (e.g., BABOK) and a culture of continuous improvement.Encourage transparent reporting and data-driven decision-making.What we are looking for as a Business Analysis Manager :
Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Insurance, or related field.10+ years of business analysis experience in complex environments.Minimum 5 years of experience managing, mentoring, or leading BAs.Broad experience across Guidewire Insurance Suite systems required.Experience in P&C insurance required.Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern requirements management practices.Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or eligibility and commitment to obtain within 6 months.Guidewire Certified PolicyCenter and / or ClaimCenter Business Analyst (preferred).PMP and Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSM, SAFe), or insurance designations (e.g., AINS), preferred but not required.Why work for Frontline Insurance?
