Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES : Mubea Tailor Rolled Banks, LLC seeks a Senior Process Engineer in Florence, Kentucky. This position requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time. Design, develop, and launch new manufacturing processes used for the production of tailor rolled blanks (“TRB”). Identify, analyze, and implement cost, quality, safety and delivery improvements to TRB manufacturing processes. Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures. Analyze and mitigate scrap. Research and purchase new manufacturing technologies used to produce tailor rolled blanks. Support production team in day-to-day activities to mitigate production delays. Lead continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, and productivity. Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs, including overall Equipment Efficiency, Throughput, and Unplanned Stops during shift operation by supporting daily execution of Assembly, Cleaning, Inspection, Start-ups and Shutdowns, and Changeovers. Maintain working knowledge of new technologies and manufacturing practices that may improve operations, and develop recommendations accordingly.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering and two years of experience in the job offered or other related Process Engineer or Maintenance Engineer position. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following : experience with a Tier-1 automotive supplier; experience creating CAD 3D designs using Inventor and SolidWorks to configure new manufacturing process layouts; experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems of industrial machinery and equipment; experience applying Kaizen to implement continuous improvement activities; experience implementing problem solving methodologies including 5 whys, Ishikawa, A3, 8D, and TBP; experience with optimizing existing equipment and performing modifications to increase productivity and enhance safety; experience applying core manufacturing practices and engineering KPIs, including FMDS boards; and experience analyzing mechanical drawings and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams of industrial equipment. This position requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time.
