About your new employer :

  • Our client is a dynamic renewable energy company focused on delivering large-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Australia and New Zealand.

    • About the role :

    Provide commercial and project support across a diverse renewable energy portfolio . You’ll advise on and negotiate key project and transactional matters, including :

  • Preparing, negotiating, and managing general commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, service agreements, and documents relating to dispute resolution and contract administration.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of project documentation, including EPC, supply and install, balance of plant, operations and maintenance (O&M), connection, and offtake (PPA) agreements.
  • Advising on land acquisition, tenure arrangements, and obtaining requisite planning and development approvals to support project delivery.

    • The ideal candidate :

  • Admitted Lawyer with 5+ years’ experience in advising on energy or infrastructure projects in Australia.
  • Coming out of a large or specialised law firm and / or in-house within the energy / infrastructure sector.
  • Skilled in managing external counsel and balancing legal and commercial risk.
  • Strong communicator with strategic thinking and influencing ability.
  • Confident managing competing priorities and delivering pragmatic legal solutions
