Essential Function : Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for SBH domestic operations and selected corporate areas. Responsible for managing the financial statements in our Oracle application from a user standpoint, ensuring all statutory requirements are met and Sarbanes-Oxley assigned controls are designed and operating effectively.

Primary Duties :

• Ensuring the accuracy of the financial reporting cycle close, reconciliations and Sarbanes-Oxley controls for Sally operations and selected corporate functions.
• Ensuring the overall accuracy of the rent obligation process, including applicable reconciliations.
• Coordinate and lead, with SEC manager, the quarterly (10-Q) and annual filings (10-K) for the Security Exchange Commission on a timely basis including relevant GAAP research and related memos.
• Oversees that cash and gift card reconciliations including recording the cash receipts for our Rewards Credit Card program.
• Coordinate the timely and efficient management of KPMG annual audit and quarterly reviews.
• Provides tax related analyses in support of various tax positions and oversees abandoned property filings.
• Provide support to the field operations for special analyses or response to questions.
• Develop management team of up to four managers or senior managers.
