Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual - Spanish / English)
Tucson, AZ | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM
Pay Range : $19-$25 / hour

We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinic in Tucson, AZ. This role offers a unique opportunity to support an underserved Medicare-eligible Hispanic senior population through culturally tailored care.
As a key member of our care team, you'll assist providers in both front and back office operations while delivering a compassionate, high-quality experience to every patient.

Key Responsibilities :
Perform phlebotomy / venipuncture and administer IM / PO medications as ordered
Support minor procedures and in-room diagnostic testing (X-Ray, Ultrasound, etc.)
Document vitals, chief complaints, and recent health changes
Conduct gap closure activities (e.g., foot exams, DRE)
Review provider orders, referrals, and normal / stable labs with patients
Support Remote Patient Monitoring and promote care plan adherence
Return patient messages / calls promptly and collaborate with care teams for continuity of care
Maintain accurate and updated EMR records
Assist in both front and back office tasks, creating a smooth clinic flow
Must-Have Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Experience using EMR systems and knowledge of medical terminology
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Geriatric care experience
Previous experience in a primary care or outpatient setting
Open to new grads / externs, but seasoned CMAs are highly encouraged to apply
