Job Description :

Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Clackamas, Oregon.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details :

  • 56 - $60 an hour
  • Speech Language Pathologist that specializes in AT / AAC is needed for the full -25 school year for 40 hours a week.
  • This position is for in person only.
  • Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
  • SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
  • SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
  • Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

    • Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • Oregon SLP License
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • School Experience is Preferred but not required
  • ASHA Certification
  • AT / AAC Experience Required.
  • The SLP-CCC must have 1 full year of experience working as a AT / AAC Specialist
