As an Associate Center Clinical Director , you will play a vital role in leading a team of compassionate Primary Care Providers (PCPs) while also engaging in hands-on patient care. Your leadership will focus on driving clinical excellence, enhancing patient outcomes, and nurturing a culture of engagement and accountability. Your efforts will directly improve the health and satisfaction of both patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor : Supervise and develop PCPs to guarantee high-quality, value-based care.
- Deliver Care : Provide direct patient care as needed, while balancing clinical and leadership responsibilities.
- Team Leadership : Oversee interdisciplinary care teams, including medical assistants, care coordinators, and facilitators.
- Care Coordination : Work collaboratively with hospitalists, specialists, and transitional care teams for seamless patient experiences.
- Operational Excellence : Partner with Center Operations and Market Leadership to enhance clinical performance and financial outcomes.
- Culture Building : Foster a positive, high-performing clinical culture through regular meetings and leadership engagement.
- Center Support : Provide clinical leadership support as needed, monitor daily census, and assist in provider and patient recruitment.
Qualifications
Medical Degree : MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.Licensure : Active medical license in Louisiana and current DEA registration for Schedule II - V substances.Board Certification : Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.Experience : Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in adult or geriatric care; leadership experience is preferred.Training : Completion of leadership development programs within ChenMed.Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.Why Join Us?
