Fpa Team Lead
We're looking for an experienced FP&A Team Lead to build, scale, and strategically lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function at Leadtech. This role requires a senior finance leader with strong business acumen, advanced analytical expertise, and a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
As an FP&A leader, this person will operate with high autonomy, taking ownership of a complex function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring cross-departmental alignment with organizational objectives. They will guide their team through complex challenges, lead financial innovation, and serve as a key partner to executive leadership.
Strategic Fpa Leadership
- Own and lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning, and strategic financial cycles.
- Deliver deep financial insights to influence key business decisions, investment strategies, and performance optimization.
- Ensure alignment between FP&A priorities and company goals, anticipating risks and identifying opportunities proactively.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead small to medium teams, setting clear performance objectives, strategic priorities, and areas of accountability.Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and hiring decisions with a long-term strategic mindset.Promote idea-sharing, cross-team collaboration, and a culture of ownership and innovation.Operational & Organizational Accountability
Take ownership of a complex area or platform, ensuring operational excellence and delivering expected business outcomes.Act proactively to address organizational, team, or workflow challenges, proposing long-term solutions.Manage complex projects and high-impact initiatives with minimal supervision, escalating only for specific strategic decisions.Advanced Financial Modeling & Analysis
Build and review sophisticated financial models to support scenario analysis, valuation exercises, M&A activities, fundraising or strategic planning.Provide financial guidance for new product initiatives, partnerships, or business model changes.Reporting & Executive Insights
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial packages for senior leadership and board stakeholders.Translate complex financial information into clear insights for both financial and non-financial leaders.Process Improvement & System Optimization
Lead initiatives to improve FP&A processes, reporting accuracy, and automation.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance data integrity and financial transparency.Strategic & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor market trends, benchmarks, and competitor performance to inform strategic direction.Calibrate the impact of external changes, proposing strategic responses aligned with long-term business goals.
