• Floating : Clinicians will not float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule : Open to accommodating block schedule

Description :

We are seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team.

This role requires an active RN license.

The assignment length can be either 13 weeks or 26 weeks.

Shifts are 4x10 hours, specifically day shifts.

The nurse should have at least 1 year of experience in endoscopy.

Candidates with the required skills and experience are encouraged to apply.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, while Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) certification are preferred.

Required skills include EUS, EBUS, ERCP, ION, Colonoscopy, and Bronchoscopy.

Candidates must be available for on-call duties every 5th weekend.

Time off requests will be limited to one time off request per 13-week assignment of five days or less.

No holiday time off requests will be accepted for auto offers.

The facility is a Magnet facility and a Level II Trauma center.

Patients range from neonates to geriatrics.

Daily census includes approximately 15 visits.

The center has two rooms dedicated to endoscopy procedures.

Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams.

The role involves caring for a wide array of patient diagnoses.

Specific procedures performed include EUS, EBUS, and ERCP.

The work environment demands strong clinical skills in airway management and conscious sedation recovery.

This position also necessitates effective communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary group.
