Job Title : Medical Assistant

Location : Oklahoma City, OK

Clinic Type : Thriving & Established Kidney Clinic

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM

Pay Rate :  $20 $21 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at a well-established and growing kidney clinic in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting physicians and ensuring high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Rooming patients and collecting vitals
  • Preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Administering injections and assisting with lab draws as needed
  • Documenting medical histories, medications, and vital signs in EPIC
  • Coordinating referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments
  • Maintaining exam rooms, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness
  • Supporting front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient check-in / out

Qualifications :

  • EPIC experience is required
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (not required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative setting

  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
  • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
  • Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
  • Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments or materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.
  • Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms.
