About The Position
We are seeking a Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins on Jan 19, 2026, with a 7 on 7 off night schedule from 7p-7a. The provider will support inpatient care, including ICU and stepdown, with daily rounding and new consults.

Responsibilities and Duties
Perform daily rounding on all inpatients in ICU and stepdown unitsEvaluate and manage new consults and discharge patientsSee an average of 10-15 patients daily, with a total census of 20-30 patientsManage a variety of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases and proceduresUtilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient managementAdditional Information
Must hold an active Indiana licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredComfortable with cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases and proceduresBenefits
