This privately-owned organization employs more than 50 physicians across multiple specialties, along with a dedicated team of advanced practitioners, administrators, and clinical support staff. Their teams serve patients suffering from injuries, providing compassionate, high-quality care in convenient, comfortable settings. They are currently seeking a part-time orthopedic surgeon to join them due to growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The new surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center in the Midland / Odessa area.

Typical duties of the role include, but are not limited to :

• perform surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries and related symptoms
• consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
• conduct full patient examinations
• order and interpret diagnostic tests
• obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
• provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
• monitor patients conditions and progress
• reevaluate patients conditions and progress as necessary

The exact job duties of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician.

Surgeons are fully supported by dedicated clinical assistants and administrative staff.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Texas medical license
• DEA
• Board Certified or Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
