What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at retail or mall locations.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Observe, report, and document any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related concerns as directed by site procedures.

Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other procedures as required by the location.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help maintain a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
