About the Role
We are seeking a Production Engineering Assistant Manager to join our team in Mantachie, MS. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical engineering expertise with supervisory responsibilities. You will lead the Seat Assembly Production Engineering (PE) team in establishing and optimizing production processes within a Just-In-Time (JIT) automotive manufacturing environment .
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop the Seat Assembly PE team to ensure efficient production processes.
- Create and evaluate process plans , flow layouts , work combinations, and equipment specifications.
- Oversee supplier selection for tools and equipment sourcing.
- Manage and control budgets, tracking related activities.
- Guide design, construction, and installation of new tools and equipment.
- Analyze and resolve production preparation issues promptly.
- Report production preparation status to PE management and related groups.
- Collect and organize data for future programs and continuous improvement.
