Position Summary : The primary function of the Extra Help Physical Therapy Aide is to assist in carrying out patient care services and treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapist Student, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant or Student Occupational Therapist or Student occupational Therapy Assistant. Physical Therapy Aides perform maintenance duties, various administrative support tasks for the Rehabilitation Services Department, and patient care duties.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Prepares and cleans treatment areas.
- Assists with administrative support tasks.
- Assists in performing portions of treatment under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, assistant or student therapists or assistant.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
