The Fi tness Specialist opportunity entails the following :

Patient continuity : Patients are prescribed exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services.

Excellent support system : Fox provides significant support for our Fitness Specialists through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager .

Requirements :

Must have one of the following : ​​ ​​ Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology; Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred (i.e., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA); or p rior experience as a fitness trainer, with willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer

Routine travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities.

Expand territory as needed.

Travel as needed per practice requirements.

CPR Certification

P revious experience working with older adults in a proactive and wellness setting preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
