This position, located at our Channelview Complex, requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly motivated, and an excellent team player with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. The role requires initiative for continuous improvement, excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all activities.
A Day in the Life :
- Calendar Management for department meetings
- Calendar Management ability for leaders
- Log action items and meeting minutes
- Create PowerPoint presentations, expense reports, purchase requisitions, and IT requests
- Analyze department data by creating Excel Pivot Tables and Power Bi dashboards
- Support, lead, and maintain department work flows as requiredFlexibility to adjust schedule based on business needs
- Book travel arrangements both domestically and abroad
- Pre-planning ahead of department events
- Ability to create agendas
- Order food and beverage when applicable
- Order office and department supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Assist with formatting and routing of updated Department and / or Operating Procedures
- Manage control documents per the appropriate record retention requirements
- Maintain department Elements Pages and / or TeamShare sites
- Assist Sr. Administrative Assistant with sitewide events
- Assist with onboarding of department new hires
- Backup duties for other department admins as assigned
