About The Position

Job Title : Level 3 Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging

Experience : 2 years of Registered IR Nursing experience, Telemetry Experience

License : New York RN license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• 2 years of Registered IR Nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Description :

This position is for a fast-paced pre / post interventional radiology department.

Nurses will cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.

They will work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery.

Nurses will provide overnight observation care.

Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required.

This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in a high-energy environment.

The department specializes in CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds.

Good communication skills and the ability to think critically are essential.

Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized.

The RN will be responsible for pre / post and 23-hour care for interventional radiology patients.

Nurses will care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
