The Role of the Technical Supervisor :

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the technical department Ensure the team is meeting and exceeding customer service requirements Report to the General Manager Plan, develop, and execute the company’s strategy for the future development of the department Develop and implement programs and training to ensure that technicians are aligned with the goals of the department Hire, supervise, schedule, assess, train, and coach technicians Plan production routes for each work day and allocate work to the team Ensure all technical equipment is in order Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as required, to meet the goals of the company Requirements : Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Advanced problem-solving and multi-tasking skills Proven time management Ability to work in a results-oriented environment Strong technical knowledge Basic knowledge of MS Office Valid driver’s license Valid pesticide applicators license, or willingness to obtain one Education Post-secondary education Experience 2-3 years in a management position in a related industry Previous experience in lawn care is considered an asset, but is not required!
