Hook up cables to electrical components in accordance with NAVSEA methods and procedures, such as hardwire and connecterization. Groom electrical components for a variety of inspections, and also responsible to provide documentation for every job performed. Mechanics are provided skills, including Vulcanization of ship's cables and the installation and maintenance of shipboard temporary services. Applicants will be tasked to learn power and data / signal cable splicing.
