Summary
The Application Analyst - Patient Access responsibilities may include but are not limited to :
- Responsible for build, testing, and support related to Cadence, Referrals, and / or Prelude Epic applications
- Primary Patient Access resource for new Ambulatory Department initiatives
- Daily duties include being a project resource, implementing enhancements, and incident ticket support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned project teams, develop test scripts, conduct testing, support application upgrades and project go lives.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and other IT application teams to assess workflow needs related to projects and enhancement requests.
- Utilize analytic skills to design, build and test solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
Additional Experience Requirements :
Epic Certification in Cadence, Prelude, or Referrals or relevant experience in scheduling, registration or referrals may be accepted.Additional Experience Preferences :
Experience with Epic upgrade cycles and Change ManagementProven experience in departmental onboarding and workflow analysis.Strong understanding of appointment scheduling, registration, and referral management.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Education : Bachelors degree required. May accept 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Experience : 1 year of application IS experience preferred.
