Aquinas Consulting is seeking to fill a Network Engineer role for our client, a leading academic institution in Worcester, MA. This role will consider Contract-to-Hire and Direct Hire candidates. Network Engineer Job Responsibilities :

• Accept a project requirement document and design a network based on client's standards
• Troubleshoot server routing issue in a data center which uses an EVPN / VXLAN fabric on Juniper QFX and EX switches
• Work with a junior engineer in troubleshooting tickets
• Checking Palo Alto firewalls or Juniper / Aruba ACLs, may include packet capture and analysis
• Implementing network segmenting utilizing MAC-Radius, DHCP, VLANs and switch / router configurations
• Investigating new technologies to determine if they make sense to implement into client’s environment
