VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing Surgery care team full time! CVTs & experienced Veterinary Assistants welcome to apply. (Brief video on life as a technician with VCA from a technician's point of view) Surgery Veterinary Technician Duties : Anesthesia monitoring, procedural and surgical Full Technician Skill Utilization Computed Tomography Scans (CT) Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams Venipuncture / IVC placement Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority) Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services Providing compassionate care for all patients Potential Schedule : Full-time Wednesday - Saturday, and Part time Wednesday - Friday. Compensation : $ 22 - 28 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status. (CVT, VTS, CVPM) Are you interested in obtaining your Veterinary Technician Specialty? Our outstanding medicine is supported by a VTS in (ECC), and a VTS in (SAIM) and we continue to support a hospital culture of growth and development for all levels of technician.
